My 2000 Outlook will not open. I have Windows 2000 Professional. It will open
up to the splash screen and stops right there. The outlook shortcuts show up
and no toolbars show up. I have tried just about everything I have read on
this board. I've changed the outcmd.dat to .old, ...

I have recently downloaded outlook 2003. When I test the set up of my
accounts they are fine. It is also received when I send myself an email from

i have 2 webmail accounts set up which I have synch'ed with my outlook.
Incoming messages are correctly directed for both accounts and outgoing for
one. The other gives me a 503 error (no recipients) although these are

pfbackup.exe but a Windows Installer window appears saying "The installation

I had to install a new hard drive on my computer, but I still have my old
one as a  slave drive.  I had Office installed on that drive when it was my
primary, but after the new drive was installed I got a message stating

I have a problem with Outlook, for instance – if I have two emails sitting in
the Inbox and I open the oldest one first, then the computer automatically
opens the most current one above it.
Is there an option to turn this off or change this?
