My 2000 Outlook will not open. I have Windows 2000 Professional. It will open
up to the splash screen and stops right there. The outlook shortcuts show up
and no toolbars show up. I have tried just about everything I have read on
this board. I've changed the outcmd.dat to .old, ...

I have recently downloaded outlook 2003. When I test the set up of my
accounts they are fine. It is also received when I send myself an email from
both accounts.
However I do not receive all the mail accepted by spam filter McAfee and I

I have to uninstall and reinstall outlook.  How do retrieve all of my emails
(inbox, deleted, sent, etc.) once this is completed?

i have 2 webmail accounts set up which I have synch'ed with my outlook.
Incoming messages are correctly directed for both accounts and outgoing for

Had pfbackup working but recently had my pc re-imaged. Try to instal
pfbackup.exe but a Windows Installer window appears saying "The installation
source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and
that you can access it."

We each have an email address and use the same computer.  Can I set up

i want to set User A can send a new mail for User B on User A's PC, so i
follow the instruction from MS's KB however it doesn't work, please comment
on the following steps if i've made somethink wrong!

I attempted to import my Outlook Express emails into my newly installed
Outlook XP and I get this error:
"The mail folder could not be opened.  If another application is using the
file, please close it and try again."

I had to install a new hard drive on my computer, but I still have my old
one as a  slave drive.  I had Office installed on that drive when it was my
primary, but after the new drive was installed I got a message stating
"Outlook has not been installed for the current user.  ...

I have a problem with Outlook, for instance – if I have two emails sitting in
the Inbox and I open the oldest one first, then the computer automatically
opens the most current one above it.
Is there an option to turn this off or change this?
