We use MS Office 2003 and Exchange Server 2003, and any email recipient we
send a Word .doc attachment to get the winmail.dat attachment.

Documents.  This makes backup easier for me and my users.
Q:  When I want to open an old archive and go to File | Open, the default

This has happened on two different computers:
1. Old computer: Win98 running Outlook 2000 SP-3. Email working fine.
