When I start outlook the windows installer tries to install a program that it can not locate on the computer. When I cancel the installer several times Outlook will continue to load and will operate properly.

I am running Outlook 2000 SP3. When I exit Outlook, task manager shows that an Outlook process continues to run, and the process continues to periodically check for new mail on my email accounts, displaying an icon in the system tray when new mail arrives.
