I had to hack the registry according to http://www.outlook-tips.net/howto/ghosts.htm in order to solve a problem with not being able to close a folder.

I did use Outlook 2000 on my old PC running under Windows 98 for some years. Now I have a new PC running under Windows XP Home and have installed MS Office 2003 on it. For some reason the identical e-mail account settings that I used before do not work in Outlook 2003.
