With Outlook 2000 my e-mail downloaded even if I had closed Outlook2000. I recently upgraded to Outlook 2003, but I can not make it download mye-mail when it is closed. Can anybody tell me how to make this happen.

I'm not sure how this happened, but Outlook 2k3 SP2 has started to check for email even when the application is closed. The icon in the taskbar has decided to persist - I can only hide it now. This screws me up as there are times when I can't get more than a dial-up

We need to perform a restore for a user that lost email last time his Outlook client performed an AutoArchive. Unfortunately the user cannot give us a specific date. Is there any way that we can tell from the Registry of the user's machine as to the last AutoArchive date\time?

It appears that the target location for auto-archiving has changed on a large number of the folders in my PST. The new location is not one that I would have selected. What would cause this to happen?

In Outlook, Tools, Options, Mail Format both boxes are checked to use Word as the editor; however, I want to UNcheck those boxes and it will not LET me do it because the checkboxes are greyed out???? How can I fix it so that the checkboxes are NOT greyed out? Thanks.
