With Outlook 2000 my e-mail downloaded even if I had closed Outlook2000.
I recently upgraded to Outlook 2003, but I can not make it download mye-mail
when it is closed.

I'm not sure how this happened, but Outlook 2k3 SP2 has started to check for
email even when the application is closed. The icon in the taskbar has
decided to persist - I can only hide it now.

In Outlook, Tools, Options, Mail Format both boxes are checked to use Word as
the editor; however, I want to UNcheck those boxes and it will not LET me do
it because the checkboxes are greyed out????  How can I fix it so that the
