I've just installed 2003, all I did was point outlook to my old pst file and most things seem to work. However, the address book is not there. Is this separate to the pst file? Also seem to have got into a bit of a mess with the personal folders, I now have 2, each item now ...

I intermittently get the following message when I attempt to start Outlook 2003.. "Cannot Start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open Outlook Window. The set of folder can not be open. The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this problem persists.

I used to be able to receive my e-mails the moment I start Outlook. Now, once I have opened Outlook, I have to click Send and Receive before I can receive any e-mails. I have not altered any of the configuration. I have checked outlook as my default e-mail software.

Because right now if I do "manage data file" I see just one *.pst file. But in my list I see two and one of them give me error message. So I try to remove outlook and reinstall but it tries to be cleaver and remember all the configurations and the bugs! So that doesn't solve the ...

Please help, we have been trying to figure this out forever. We are using outlook 2002 and I am mainly trying to retrieve AOL mail. Message received is : "Unable to display folder. This is the root of an IMAP store."
