I need to know if i can switch to Outlook from Outlook Express and not lose

I vaguely remember that this can be done, but how?  When I check help I am
told This feature requires Microsoft Exchange.  I could not locate info for

My Outlook 2002 SP3 stopped automatically recording items from MS Word and
Excel. I have checked the settings under Options. Everything is set. I tried
