I have upgraded my outlook from 2000 to outlook xp. I can no longer send or
receive emails. I get an error message 'operation failed', or 'object not
found'.
The emails accounts work ok on the test dialog box.

Have new laptop which I setup Outlook on.  When I have both computers on and
outlook running I would like the messages to go to both computers.  Anyway to
do this?

Last week, I suddenly lost the ability to send/receive mail in outlook
2000 (on a windows me platform). A message popped up that said "function
  failed" or something like that. All other functions of the program
(calendar, reading messages, etc.) appeared fine.

folder on my outgoing desktop (Asus) - I did this because it has mirrored
drives for resilience (I cannot afford to lose the file!).  I have recently

Is it possible to make a backup copy of all emails to a cd and access them
as if they were still on disk but from the cd, and at the same time still
recive the new mails to the disk folder?

I have used the email accounts options to set the order in which I would like
to check email accounts by moving the accounts up and down in the list.  
However, no matter how I set them, the mail is still checked in the same

I use Briefcase to keep my laptop current with my desktop when I'm on travel.
 I have the pst file in the Briefcase, which I believe contains all my mail
and contacts.  However, I do not see how to change the other configuration
files, such as the rules,  menu and view settings, ...
