After having worked for more than six months and after a not correct closure of Microsoft Outlook 2003 (running on Windows XP) , when trying opening the Inbox folder in one of my .pst archives (1,2GB in total; the Inbox folder is 800k approx) the following message appears:

I am using MS Vista with MS Outlook 2003 on a clean installation. I have been receiving attachments from some senders perfectly while having problems from others. I receive the same e-mail with attachments perfectly on my older computer (running MS XP and Outlook 2003).

If you open Outlook several times you have several instances as well. I don't know what this is for!! I don't need it. I have set up a hotkey to Outlook 2003 by just opening the settings of the link on the desktop or start menu and entering Alt + Ctrl + O to the hotkey

I am using office 2003. I received an email with an word doc attachment of 10K. I clicked save as and the saved doc becomes 13M. Is there any settnig in outlook/other location to avoid this auto increase of file size.

I want to change the layout and contents of the e-mail and formatting toolbars in the mail composing ('Send') window (using Word as the editor). I can add/remove buttons from either toolbar either directly in Word, or in a message being edited, and the changes seem to stay put.
