Receiving e-mail into OUtlook from Hotmail - HELP!!!13 Mar 2007 14:14 GMT2
I can SEND e-mail from the Outlook interface thru HOTMAIL but my Hotmail
account is full of e-mail and when I send/receive from Outlook I do not get
any HOTMAIL messages to read...anyone?!?!? THANKS!

I'm using Outlook 2003 running under XP and talking to two Hotmail accounts.  
My personal folders box shows 3 groups of personal files: one for each
hotmail account and one which is the default mail delivery location for
hotmail.  All 3 groups have sent, delete, inbox, etc.  ...

Every 10 seconds Outlook hangs for a few seconds. Very annoing. It even
afects the performance of all other running applications. Very difficult to
shutdown (even taskmanager freezes).
I have a brand new Dell Inspiron 6400 notebook. Clean install of Win XP Pro.

When I click it (?), it tells me "There is a problem with one or more help
files. Please reinstall and try again". I did that with no change. I tried
"Diagnostics" with no change. I think it's an old 2003 file or some other
problem.

Outlook web access was working great on default site, using SSL
I set up a sharepoint application on the same site as outlook web access and

I am running XP Home SP 2 (fully current for updates)  I am using Outlook
2003 and IE7.
I am missing "URL:MailTo Protocol" from the list of file types under Windows
Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/Programs.  I believe this missing item is the

I have applied all the correct daylight savings update for the current users
on my computer. If I create another user in the future and setup Outlook for
this user, will I need to re-run the update for Outlook for this user?

I want those that recieve emails to see a different email address than the
one I sent it from.  I have set up the email account so if some one replies
to the email it will go to a different email account.  I want to display the
reply email address not the one I send it from.

I love Outlook but for some reason, I added my MSN and Hotmail accounts but I
can't use the “reminder” features in my MSN or Hotmail calendars and I can't
get an email notification “envelope” in the taskbar as in Outlook Express or
other Outlook versions?

I recently purchased a new computer which had a trial version of Outlook. I
purchased MSOffice XP and installed (hindsight I should have deleted trial
first). Outlook will not connect to mail server, in account when test
settings says "can not open outgoing email address ...
