i never use the journal, notes, rss or tasks folders, is there a way to stop
them from displaying on the folder list?

   I currently have Outlook set up on my desktop machine to receive and
send mail.  I've just bought a new laptop as I have to travel a bit and work
from home.  Is there a way I can setup Outlook on both machines to use one
main PST file on my desktop and then sync with a copy ...

Downloaded Office 2003 and everything (excel, word,etc) works except Outlook
2003 which opens but does not show my folders and when I hit the send/receive
button, it says " cannot find"
All of the email settings are checked and verified.  

I just installed my copy  of Outlook 2003 on my new Vista PC.  The
installation was fine, but I get the following error when I try to run the
app:
"Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped Working"

I have been using the "SendObject" command to email reports and it works
great as long as the user has MS Outlook as their mail program.  Users that
have AOL (and I can't convince them it adds no value) get errors.  
Can the SendObject be configured to other mail programs than MS ...

After I reinstalled Windows Vista, Outlook XP will not remember a password in
email accounts. It acts like it is remembering the password, but when I test

Will Outlook 2007 automatically use my contact list and email accounts from
outlook 2003 or will I have to import my contacts from a backup and set up
again my email accounts from outlook 2003?

I was in the process of setting of Outlook 2003 for the first time for a
friend who has a juno.com email address.  However, I was unsure which option
to choose:  POP3, IMAP, HTTP, etc.  I clicked CANCEL thinking it would exit
out of Outlook, but it did not.

It is a real pain to copy your email accounts to a new system.
It is easy enough to export emails and contacts via exporting and importing
the pst - you should be able to do the same with email accounts (eg pop3)
without having to re-enter them manually

I can connect to my ISP with IE but when attempting to connect via Outlook
2007 get an error 0x9cdc008 followed by "Cannot find email server. Verify the
server information in your account properties".  I am using a dial-up
facility. Help please.
