Newer versions of Outlook have a spam filter builtin, moving spam to "Unwanted emails" (I guess it is, my Outlook is Danish). That is, if you use POP3. If you use IMAP, some IMAP folders are created outside "Private folders" (I guess it is) and without any "Unwanted emails" ...
