Outlook 2003 Junk E-mail Folder30 Nov 2003 23:26 GMT2
When I install Outlook 2003 (old outlook.pst) I get a Junk E-mail folder
with my old junk email and a new folder Junk E-mail1 which I cannot rename
or delete. This is a little annoying as I only want 1 junk email folder.

My Outlook PST file was 1.5 gig.  I deleted 500 meg worth
of sent files and unused folders, then I emptied
the "Deleted" folder.  I followed the instructions to
manually compact, and the size is still 1.5 gig.

Due to a corrupt pst file and various other screwups on my part I'd
like to start fresh with a new generic personal folder, however, after
deleting MS Office and removing all registry entries and reinstalling
it I keep ending up with all my old settings. Needless to say I,m at

I have just upgraded a laptop from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003.  I had to
"re-map" to my current Outlook pst file and set up my IMAP accounts again
but that's not difficult.

Outlook express users do not receive attachments sent via
outlook 97.  If the same message is sent to an outlook
user the attachment is fine.
Any ideas?

I was using Outlook 2002 to read mail in my Administrator
account under Windows 2000 Pro.  When I upgraded to
Windows XP Pro, I lost all of my E-mail, because

I have re-installed MS Outlook 2002 on a new laptop
running Win XP and I no longer have the option of
inserting a chosen signature.  The menu
command "signature" from the Insert Menu is no longer
