On a new Emachine running Windows XP, our secretary
replaced the name for the "Microsoft Explorer server",
which comes up on initial startup, in Office 2003
Outlook, with the name for our ISP and now you can't open

Hi;
I`m trying to setup Outlook to Send/Receive every 1
minute while connected through dail-up. It doesn`t seem

My husband is using outlook 2000.  He went to work with
a "outlook today" he right clicked and accidentally
clicked on "close personal folders".  When he did this
all the folders he created under outlook today

I copied my files in my drafts folder in OE and
reformated my harddrive.  Now when I try to red them I
get either jibberish  or open with  file  which non seem
to work..How can I read these files??

exist,but Outlook won't display any information when
opened from "file/open/personal folders". There is only a

As a developer I'm curious about what people want to get out of
Outlook that isn't already built in.  It would be interesting to see a
list of features that people really want and need.
For example, many people including myself have lots of issues with the

Since I downloaded the last patch for Outlook Express,
every single attachment I have received via email has been
inaccessible. I get a message that "OE has removed access
to the following unsafe attachment." There is nothing

When I click on the MS Outlook link/icon, MS Outlook
appears in a small window in the middle of the screen.  It
then remains in the small window and does not subsequently
open up into a large window.

I'm running OE 6.0 on a W98 platform. In all other programs, I can hit
a string of keys to get Portuguese characters (eg, "alt" + "," + "c"
give me a "c" with a cedille under it). However, in Outlook, this
doesn't work.

service is?  (POP 3, IMAP, or HTTP)?
