Sometimes outlook 2000 strips the attachment when forwarding. I found an articles in Microsoft documenting this but no fix. Is there a fix?

I've seen a couple of postings on this, but no solutions. I'm trying to export from OE 6 on one box, onto a new box with Outlook 2003. When I try to import from Outlook, it says that the mail folder could not be opened (it is not being accessed by any other program).

I like to leave messages in my inbox until I've read/handled the items. (Minutes or months later.) Then I like to store the messages in folders and 95% of the time I'll store the message in a folder created for the sender.

If I list the archive folders in my folder list, does that negate the improvements in speed that I get from archiving in the first place? I mean, if outlook has to open those massive folders anyway, will that still slow it down, or is it okay because my main pst file is being kept ...
