Everytime I open up Outlook and then hit the send/receive
button the program spills out an error message telling me
that there was no server connection eventhough I am online
with AOL Broadband. Is there a way to tell Outlook that I

Why can't I file a new contact into an existing
distribution list? There is a nice prompt at the bottom
for "Category" - why not "Distribution List"?

While archiving a LARGE mailbox in Outlook 2002, I

I seem to have lost all my Outlook data for the past 6 months - email,

I switched from Comcast to Millenium Cable this week and

I switched to Outlook from Mozilla Thunderbird.  I did this because
Thunderbird was unstable (at least for me).  It did have a nice spam filter
though.  I was hoping that Outlook's spam filter would be comparable and the

The Junk Email "spam filter" in Outlook 2003 does not appear to work on
email that is moved to other folders using Rules (i.e. for people with
multiple email accounts). Is there a work around to this? Perhaps some way
to modify the rules so Junk Email will get filtered?

When I upgraded my ms office to 2003 all my archive folders, which were
previously hidden unless I specifically opened them are now all open by
default which is very confusing.  I would like to hide them all by default
and only open then when I need to look in my archives.

When I first started Outlook 2003 I had the option to
setup a exhange account.  Now I do not have a exchange
server so this wasn't neccesary.  Well needless to say I
wasnt paying close enough attention and pu my pop mail
