I apologise for the cross-post, but I honestly don't know which NG this
should be in.
I also can't explain this problem any other way, so I hope this list makes
some sense:

I am getting an error message when i open my Microsoft
outlook at the client end that "can not start microsoft
office outlook, unable to open the outlook window, server
is not available, contact yout administrator".

Has anyone discovered a fix for this? I'm having to go to the webmail and
remove these spam messages from the server to get Outlook to receive all my
mail. Been having this problem on multiple computers now. I don't think it's

I have a user who uses Outlook Express.  I think it's version 6.0.  She is
not able to access her email and sent me all her dbx files.  I thought I
could look at them, but when I try to import them, I just get an error that
the file is in use.  Can't I import these files into my OE?

I have Outlook 2000 running on XP Pro. I have several
user accounts and the administrator account.
Everytime I open Outlook in a user account Outlook asks
me if I want Outlook to be the default email client.

When I tried to send my step daughter an attachment of MSN it said Outlook had blocked the potentially unsafe attachment. How do I set Outlook to allow me to send the files that I want? Can't I somehow set up Outlook to notify me if something might be unsafe, but to let me decide ...

Opened my Outlook 2000 folder and all my email, with exception of two new emails are gone!  When I open Exchange 5.5 administration and check the mailbox it shows 160 items.  How can I get access to my email again?
