When trying to edit a recurring appointment in Outlook 2000 Calendar, user is getting error message "Can't open this item, Object not found. Anyone know of a solution for this issue?

Can someone tell me how this is done? I gather I should be able to go to Import, Import from another file or program, and then ACT! should be there as an option (but it is not). This is where I get stuck.

sorry for the dumb question but didn't find any thing in help or google but where are the acct settings for pop3 server, smtp server, using non standard ports, etc., like in outlook2000, outlook express the wizard/properties only has very abbreviated settings?????

On the split screen in Outlook Express I can read an incoming message by just selecting its line and viewing it on the lower half. Does this mean that a spammer now knows the message has been read? If so, how can I avoid this?
