I opened my emailbox and found that I had 7 new email
messages.
One half of my window shows my messages, the bottom
window shows the email I currently looking at.  While

Outlook 2003 time zone match in both outlook and in my XP pro workstation
control panel.  XP workstation is checked to adjust for daylight savings
time in control panel and in outlook.  When I view another worker's Outlook
2003 calendar every appointment/recurrence is one hour ahead ...

I want to backup Outlook using the backup utility which I

I had to change disk drives, and now can't retrieve my
old email, and my old address book.  Is there a way to do
this?  I have all the files on my old hard drive, but
can't seem to find the right ones.

I use Outlook 6. Whenever i open an email all i see is a
blank white page. i cant see anything inside the email

I know this is an Outlook 98 newsgroup, but I've been told
that to do what I want to do, I need to upgrade to Outlook
2000.  When I upgrade, can I use Word as my e-mail editor

I am using Outlook 2003 and in the far left hand pane (the navigation pane)
it shows "Calendar". A figure "2" has appeared next to the word Calendar. I
have no idea why and can't get rid of it. The help file has been anything
but!

I'm probably having a moment of stupidity here, but can someone please point
me in the direction of some info on how to move the outlook.ost file?  I've
tried closing outlook and moving it, but it just creates a new one.  I can
see the location of the file in the advanced properties ...

I've got my setting on "Notify for each receipt ..." but some spam mails
seem to bypass this and attempt to send the receipt anyway.  The only way to
stop it is to delete the receipt before it can be sent.
Does anyone know if a patch is coming out for this ??

When I used Office 97, I could set up a message rule to reply to an incoming
message automatically with a pre-defined message.  I want to do the same in
Outlook 2002, but as far as I can see it is only available in Out of Office
Assistant, but I still want to have this rule run, ...

This might be old news but I am new here so bear with me.
I have just upgraded to Office 2003 and all went well. I added NEWS to me GO
menu dropdown in Outlook as described in HELP, and all went well. It carried
over my old settings and worked as it should.

Below you will see the wonderful response I have received from my ISP regarding this issue.  They have passed the buck to Microsoft, yet I see it may be somewhat of a common problem based on searching this thread.  Any assistance is greatly appreciated

Have downloaded Adobe 6.0 and Acrobat but cannot read any
file attachments.  Somehow Express has blocked "any" (all)
attachments that may contain harmful materials.
Outlook 2003: Two distinct contacts sets23 May 2004 05:33 GMT7
I seem to have ended up with two different sets of contacts.  If I add a
contact using the "Contacts" tab, or by right clicking an originator and
adding to contacts, then I cannot subsequently use that contact in rules
such as "From people" or "in contacts".
