Outlook Hangs on Shutdown25 Jun 2004 16:45 GMT1
I have seen several people post a problem with Outlook
hanging and still running when closed.  I am having this
problem on a Windows XP Pro machine running outlook 2000.  
When the user closes outlook it hang in the middle of the

I saw another posting in the group (6/16 I think) that never received an
answer.  I am hoping that, if I post again, someone will see it and have a
solution.  I have combed the Microsoft knowledge base and the newsgroups and
didn't find a solution.  I have also done Google searches ...

Messages 'stuck' in outbox. Cant delete, send or receive25 Jun 2004 15:44 GMT2
I had an email message in the outbox which was too large
and taking ages to send so I opened it and deleted some
attachments and clicked send again. Now I can't do
anything with outlook- I can't send or receive emails nor

Is there a fix for this?  90% of the time Outlook doesn't

Links wont open, i have searched google for the methods
available, and have tried the "Open With" advice and so
on, yet links in outlook still dont open in a new
browser -- they dont even open at all..

When i restore files only restore files from the last
month (May) but the emails from june don't appears!!!
I tried view all pst files that i found in my pc but i

When I create an all-day-event, it's placed in the top of the day (in
the calendar).

it was working at one time and we created a new profile and then set up the
outlook client and at the point is when this happen.  ive seen this before
but can not remember what i did to fix it.....

This is Outlook 2000-When trying to move files from inbox
to personal folders user gets an error and the action
does not complete.  all setting appear to be correct and
there is also no visible security issue.
