I have recently tried to open my outlook.pst file which I
have copied from my old Windows 98 pc running MS Office
2000 to my new pc (Windows XP Pro) running the same
office software appliction and I'm not able to access

I recently installed Office 2003 and use Outlook 2003 as
my mail client.  When I send an email with an attachment,
recipients using Outlook Express do not get the
attachment at all.  It doesn't seem to matter what type

    Some time ago there used to be some standard that if your
email address was a@b.com, you could give out your address as
a+c@b.com and when your email arrived it went into a folder named
"c". In effect, anything after the "+" was like a comment. I thought

Two problems that are somewhat strange and unexplainable
to me. Neither is a major problem, but they are annoying.
First, though it didn't happen earlier, for some reason
whenever I now log off or restart my computer, the folders

The welcome screen in Windows XP can show a message for each user giving the
number of unread messages in the user's Inbox. Does this only work for
Outlook Express, or is it configurable to work with Outlook 2003?

Please tell me:
When I import, how can I direct my data either into
personal contacts or shared contacts. Thus far data is
directed automatically into the 'contacts' folder which is

I'm considering switching to Outlook (Office XP) from OE for my e-mail.
OE had an option of blocking senders based on their domain, but I can't find
that in Outlook. The only thing Outlook gives me is the option of blocking
by the display name or address.

I have a long list of spam email addresses that I want to
import into outlook.  How do I do this?  Do they have to
be separated by commas?

I have two separate icons set up on my desktop to call
Outlook using /profiles switch for profiles A & B.  I can
double click one for A, and it opens my POP3 account for
profile A.  Then I close it and double click one for B,

recently my windows crashed.  we copied hard drive into a
folder on a new hard drive.  then installed windows and
copied the folder on my desktop.  For the life of me I
cannot figure out how to find my email... my outlook 2000

Created a new stationery in Outlook Express using the
wizard. Chose "do not tile" Closed Outlook Express and
opened Outlook. Picked the new stationery and it came out
tiled vertically and horizontily. Recreated new

the hyperlinks in my recived email no longer work. I get
a message "Microsoft Outlook, THIS OPERATION HAS BEEN
CANCELLED DUE TO RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT ON THIS COMPUTER.
PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR." I have not
