I am running a Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5. I have a user running WinXP with OfficeXP. WIth Outlook open, new mail does not show up until a previously received email is clicked on.

I am running Outlook 2002 on my Laptop. I am about to delete and restore my computer, and when I'm done, I want to reinstall Outlook and have all the same contacts, appointments, addresses etc.... What files/folders should I save? What is the best way to go about this?

Outlook 2000, Exchange Server 2000. I just ran the Exmerge utility and now when I try to set up rules or re-use the ones I had I get the following error:

For some reason, I can't import into my contacts folder. Nothing will come in. Everything from Excel to CSV can't be imported. It stops at the "select destination folder" in where the dialogue box is blank and the "next" button is dimmed out......

What, if anything, determines how a file is attached in Outlook? Sometimes it is put in the ATTACHMENT bar, other times it is INSERTED in the body of the message.
