How can I set outlook so that the moment I delete an item from my inbox it goes directly to the deleted items folder instead of getting a strikeout and sitting there on the navigation pane until I purge it? Help! This is very annoying. Thanks!

I working with a separate problem and was messing with the Personal Folder and, after reading another post in this newsgroup, I created a second (different name) personal folder. Now I want to get rid of it, but cannot find a 'Delete'. How do I get rid of this?! Thanks

I am trying to use Outlook 2000 as my email reader (is that the right term?) for my Hotmail account, but Outlook is unable to send and recive the emails via Hotmail. The error is that it is unable to connect to the server.

when i save an outlook 2000 calendar as a web page all the 2005 dates (the 2004 dates seem ok) get shifted, so the 30th of may 2005 shows up as a sunday instead of a monday. any ideas?

Is there a way to attach files without them showing in the body of the text in Outlook 2002? I've just created a new profile, and I'm sure I used to be able to attach them in an "attachmet toolbar" that showed just above the body of the text.

I am using O2K with all updates on 2 different computers, a laptop with Win2K and a desktop with WinXP Pro. Both show the same behavior. When I create a new folder, the View setting has the preview pane ON. I don't like to use the preview pane for my mail and always turn OFF this ...
