I bought an Office Pro OEM with Publisher and installed
it. Before that I removed my office 2003 completely. When
I tried to open my Outlook I got the error:
"Unable to open your default email folders. Could not open

has anyone had a problem with people not getting messages
sent from your hotmail account.  Some of my messages I am
sending to people, people I always email, are not
arriving there even though from my side it looks like

I had saved a PST file of my Outlook contacts in Nov of last year in a
backup. In all probability (I know, this is embarassing), I had created the
PST in Outlook for Office XP.
Now when I try to open the PST using Outlook 2003, the program doesn't

I have just had to reinstall Office due to a corrupt PST that simply refused
to die.Everything is working fine now, except for one thing. I have set
Outlook back up to send/receive every 10 minutes, and it isn't. I have it
minimised to the systray (whoops 'notification area'!  ...

Are there known problems with the RULES implemention (or any other O02
mechanism) that would cause emails from a known ID to be deleted without
being moved to the DELETED folder.

Apparently my domain address has been "hijacked" and I've
gotten hundreds of messages in the last 24 hours using
different id's to the left of the @ sign for my domain
name.  Most of the junk comes to me as "Undeliverable"

When I'm sending mail, it first goes to outbox and unless I click on outbox
it won't be delivered.

I have Office 2003 that includes all standard applications and InfoPath and
OneNote.  Which version of Office 2003 would include Business Contact
Manager?.  Is it possible to purchase BCM as a stand alone and add it to
Office 2003? Thanks.

How do I copy only the email address of a contact?

I right click on an email and put on the junk email sender's list.  It
just sits there.  Is it supposed to automatically delete?  Also, if
that address comes in in the future, is is supposed to automatically

I upgraded from outlook 2000 to outlook 2003 on my
windows 2000 box.  The icon in the system tray is still
the outlook 2000 icon not the outlook 2003 icon.  Is this
by design or is there something I can do to fix it?

I had an outlook pst file of about 1gig on my desktop and using a backup
program backed it up and then imported it into my laptop (for the first
time) which took over an hour. I cleaned up (deleted) some emails in my
inbox (from about 4,200 emails to 3,700) I then exported the file ...
