I may be reformatting/reinstalling my entire laptop operating system and starting over - Dell tech says that no recognition of CD drive may be due to corruption of registry. Seems like a "controlled crash" to me... SO - first I want to try to save some stuff like documents etc.

I have just installed Outlook (from Office XP Pro) and have set up my personal folders. My eMail accounts are established in the Control Panel Mail applet, and work fine with Outlook Express.

Hi, I keep getting an error 553 (0x800CCC79) when ever I try to email someone, if I go to the dbx files and remove them and let outlook create new ones then I can e-mail, but this does not last long and again the dbx files become corrupted and I can't e-mail.

I imported addresses etc from old PC into outlook and they are under contacts. I enabled the contacts as add to email under properties, but when I am in contacts view I cannot send email. There isn't a send message option under Actions menu or from right click menu or from new Icon.

Is there a way to move every e-mail to the deleted files folder who DOES NOT exist in the Address book? I get lots of e-mails with no subjects, and other trash, and can't seem to find a way to only allow users in my address book to get to my in box.
