Since I installed Office 2003 last week, i notice my hard drive seems to stay very active even though nothing else is open other than outlook. Does anyone know if outlook has any background processing it does?

I have a very worrying problem with a friend's outlook express. Every time she launches it, the toolbar is filled with unwanted panels and the main section turns into an explorer page and downloads some kind of website with a blue background.

My problem is that the delegates tab does not appear. I was able to see it a couple of months ago, and had delegates all set up for myself. When I needed to add an additional delegate a couple of weeks ago, the Delegates tab was missing. I'm not sure what I may have configured ...

I recently moved Outlook 2k - to 2003, and at the end imported my old pst from 2k. Now the mail address book has no entries, and complains of a missing / bad folder. I've tried all sorts to fix this - so far no luck.

A little background: We are utilizing Outlook2k3 (fully patched) on Windows XP Pro (also patched) in an Exchange 2000 environment. All systems are NTFS, file size of the .OST files are less than 1 GB.
