When I try to attach a file it is being inserted in the body of my email, how
can I change it so it merely is attached as a normal file not in the body of
the email?

Yes this sounds strange, but I have a few users that
their NEW emails do not automatically show up in their
INBOX until they physically click on their DELETED box.  
Then all their new emails appear in the INBOX.

after updating to the new xp service pack I suddenly
can't open .mdb files attached to an email.  It says
unknown publisher.  I have looked everywhere for a
setting to turn this off, including the one that turns

I have a user who has a signature in the form of a .png
and wants to incorporate it in his outgoing/reply
emails.  I can do a simple signature in there but how do
I get a .png at the bottom of all of his email?

I'have reinstalled with no luck, after I access 1 or 2
contacts, the whole thing crashes.  Have archived, done
detect and repair... don't know what else to do.

All of a sudden, starting yesterday, every message I receive has an
attachment with a .TXT file with the contents of the message.  It's like
getting duplicate messages.  How can I correct that?  Help...

I have recieved 2 complaints over the last week of mail with
attachments arriving without the attachments.  Outgoing is

This is really odd. Just recently, all my emails coming into Outlook 2002
are being received with an attachment. The attachment is just a txt file
that contains a duplication of the text in the body of the message.
This happens regardless of who is sending the email. It even happens ...

If I hit send and receieve nothing happens. I have used

When I copy & paste a link into an Outlook 2003 e-mail, it doesn't appear as
a link (highlighted blue and underlined.)
On the other hand, if I manually type an e-mail address or link into a

I have a computer that is running Win XP Professional SP2 with Office 2000
installed.
A few days ago, Outlook stopped recieving email in the Inbox until you click
on a different folder. Newly composed email messages do the same; they go to

Somehow (Office update??) Outlook 2003 was installed on my
PC.  In the process I lost all my contacts in my address
book, all saved e-mail, etc.  How can I either restore the
