Can I run Outlook 2003 as a background process?18 Jan 2005 20:48 GMT3
Hi, I'm new to Outlook and i can't figure out how it can be launched
automatically when i log in Windows (like MSN Messenger does) and i can't
find either how it can be run as a background process (again like MSN
Messenger does) so i get notified about new messages, alerts, ...

I'm using Outlook 2002 (10.6515.6714) SP3.
My colleagues can use Ctrl-Enter to send an email.
In earlier versions that was possible, but not any longer.
Any ideas?

An former employee password protect an Outlook 2000 form.  We don't know the
password. What can an Administrator do to unlock the password.

Initial Setup:
I had a Windows 2000 and Outlook 2000 setup using a 56k modem for dialup.

I created some meetings at work and invited my home e-mail to attend.   When
I got home and started Outlook 2000, I got those messages, but they didn't
have an "accept" button, so they didn't enter into my calendar.
Is there a setting I need to make?

When I try to open my address book, I get an error saying that
The address list could not be displayed.  The Contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened blah blah
I click ok. It opens up the Address book.

Running Outlook 2000
If I edit a colleagues message, Outlook puts my text in blue, any sentence I
type automatically gets a leading space and it is in a different font.
1. Can I temporarily turn this off on a per-message basis? How?

Why do I see two copies of my "Personal Folders showing in the tree? They
both unroll and are looking at the same .pst file in the same location. How

email and for some reason outlook express is deleting all the attachments as
