A user cannot open an attachment in Outlook 2000 that is a 2 MB powerpoint slideshow. He runs WinXP SP2 and Office 2000. He can forward the email, and I can open the attachment. When he tries to open it Outlook totally freezes and has to be killed in Task Manager.

ive just installed outlook 2003, running on windows xp pro with sp2. if i send email from oe it arrives immediately. if i send from outlook it goes out ok but is not delivered back to me for hours or days. i have diabled antivirus and firewall but without any change.

I know there is a simple way to do this but I just redid a pc and I have forgot how to make it so that when you click on a link in a e-mail it opens a new explorer window. Right now if I have one window open it will change that window to the link I clicked on in the e-mail.
