i opened a new message and dragged a few emails in as attachments (as a backup) when i saved it, it saved as a doc file. now when i try open it, it opens in Word as a blank document (without the attachments) how do i get the attachments back?

I first had AOL and it played the youve got mail sound but after I uninstalled it my outlook express never played any email notification sounds and I just installed Outlook 2003 and it does not either. I have outlook receiving mail from an hotmail account.

I recently cleaned up the too many e-mails I had in my inbox by creating a series of personal folders to organize and store them. So far so good. Next I noticed that my sent items folder was a subfolder of my deleted items folder (don't know why) Which I promptly emptied ..DOH!! ...

I don't know if this is a bug from Service Pack 1 but when I try to attach a ZIP file to an OL 2003 email message, it is not visible in the dialog box. For some reason, OL is blocking visiblity of this and obviously, since I cannot see it, I cannot attach it!!
