I just upgraded from Outlook 2000 to 2003.  I have something I don't know
how to customize:
A friend emailed me with a photo & graphics embedded in the email.  When I
received the email those show only as a red X - not as they were sent.  How

the search folders are really a good new feature in Outlook 2003. However,
I haven't found a way to do these the following important things:
- I use the For Follow Up search folder a lot. When I see a flagged message
there, I often want to see the context of that message; that is, ...

Is there an add-on from Microsoft or others that can populate a New Contact
with info from an Outlook 2002 e-mail, Word document, etc.?

Can you password protect specific parts of Outlook? e.g. just the calendar?

I follow the help file exactly on how to add news, but I don't have a news
item in my commands list..

My Outlook has been doing some stange things as of late.  
Namely, it randomly shuts itself down.  The program just
vanishes and I have to re-start it.  This doesn't seemed
to be linked with any single type of event.

Windows XP, Outlook 2003, Desktop Alert stop popup,
When it check in - Tools,Options, Email Options, AdvancedE-mail Options,
It supposed to be "Preview" option, its not ,
In "When new item arrive in my Inbox" all the option mark,

We have several users still using Windows 98 running Office 97
connected to our Exchange server in Windows SBS 2003 server.  How do I
get the public folders to show up in this older version of Outlook?

I had deleted a PST file and was going to remove the registry entries
for it when I noticed the following entries in a cslid key:

My outlook will check for mail  which functions as expected then temporarily
hangs up like a lock up, then just closes without warning.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

The feature works fine until you try to use a template other than
normal.dot. When you use any other template, only the headers and
footers appear in your letter - none of the text that is part of the

For some odd reason when I created multiple contact addressbook I got
duplicates in the pulldown menu called SHOW NAMES FROM THE after clicking the
addressbook icon on the toolbar in Mail.
Only one of them works and the other gives some message about not existing.
