My outlook.pst has been set with the password in MSO2K.  But the file opens
fine without asking for the password when I open Outlook.  When I copy the
file to another system, it works fine there .. ie., I am prompted for the
password.

Hi!  I need to export a contacts file with many entries into an Excel or
Access file. I have been totally unsuccessful in exporting into Access and my

This morning I tried to reply to an e-mail and got the message "Outlook is
opening Word 2003 as your e-mail editor" (or something to that effect). The
window just stayed onscreen and eventually ended up hanging. Help!  :)

I have Outlook 2003. Is there a way to have Outlook check for reminders
on startup without having Outlook running? Basically, I am looking for
some sort of agent that runs in the background checking for any
reminders, etc. Possible?

We are wanting to use mandatory profiles, but Outlook doesn't want to play
(tries to login as the user who created the mandatory profile) if we do. Can
someone shed light on what I need to do in order to get it working, please?

Add graphic content to a new mail
A lot of our suppliers send product information by e-mail where the mail
appear as a datasheets when I open it in my e-mail tool (Outlook 2003).
There are both graphic and text. What would the best way of producing that

Does anybody know if I can just cancel AOL and use Outlook express on its own
and keep my AOL screen name?

I had an email account set up in outlook express
I installed out look XP, and know I can get email, but outgoing says it
times out waiting for response from SMTP.

why does not my Customize Outlook Today work in my Office 2000?  It will not
open and I am not able to Customize anything in Outlook Today

I have been trying to set up Outlook.  I have outlook express.  It keeps
asking to go to contol panel and in control panel mail it doesn't let me add
data files.  I wouldn't know where to look if I had to.

I use outlook 98. I have a mailbox with three aliases. People sending
me emails can use any of the three email aliases and the email will
arrive in the same mailbox. Accessing the mailbox once will retrieve
all messages regardless of which alias was used.

I used to be able to change the font and background colors in my e-mail
replies, so that it was easier to see the latest addition to the exchange.  
Recently, my background color icon disappeared from my toolbar, and I have no
idea why.  I would like to get it back.

Just got 2003 and find a third window pane on the far right which is a
preview pane for the selected e-mail, evidently.  I can find no way to
eliminate the window pane.  Is there a way to remove this pane?  How?
I've tried every VIEW combination with no success.

When i set up my outlook my list of contacts didn't get transfered with all
the other information. Do i have to re-enter each contanct?
