After I burn the outlook.pst into the cdrom, I tried to test it, but it
doesn't work. I got the following error message:
The file is not a personal folder file.
Can I ask why? I have changed to not read only, but still not working. why?

I am hoping someone here has seen this before and can help me get rid
of it.
In my email, above the Public Folders and Archive Folders, I have a
folder that has no name. It's simply the folder icon with empty space

Can anybody tell me what exactly the Outlook data files do? and what happens
if you delete one. Does it automatically reset itself? I somehow ended up
with more than one so I have done a backup and cleaned them out by deleting
htem.

I have deleted outlook 2003 (uninstalled it) I deleted the outlook data file
storage area...and the fiels in it.
But now when I reinstalled it, it pops up a message saying that it needs me
to install outlook file2 or something similar it is a some kind of data

I searched to get all emails with attachments that are from last year
or older. Now I want to select them all and remove the attachments from
all of them, but keep the messages. I can do this one at a time, but
how do I do this for all emails?

I have three different email addresses. I would like the mail to these
addresses to be delivered into their own, individual inboxes. Is this
possible? At the moment everything arrives in one inbox.

I'm using Outlook 2003. I have a contact group(5 email addresses) that I
email periodicaly. Lately I can no longer send anything to the group unless
I remove one particular person from the distribution. The email gets hung up

would like to apply a "standardized" Customized Current View to new
and exiting folders without having to wade through all the options

I have a friend who is having a problem which is ongoing for nearly 2
months. She is part of a small organisation with 4-5 computers. They work on
exchange server accounts on outlook 2002 SP3. When they send out a mail with
a pdf attachment , the body of the mail gets stripped ...

Does anybody know how I can open a .pst file from a ftp location? I want to
be able to acces the same .pst file from two different computers (home and
work).
MAPI is was unstable, some e-mails got lost.

We had office XP installed and upgraded Outlook to 2003. The desktop icon is
the new 2003 icon, but in the start menu and Quick Launch bar show the old
Outlook XP icon. Any way to change these??

If I make sure that Outlook Express is shown in Tools/Internet Options as my
newsreader program, then click on either GO-News in Outlook, or Mail-News in

When I copy something to my clipboard from a different application (like a
URL or some text on a web page) and THEN I open Outlook 2003 to PASTE it, it
just pastes a BLANK Square box??  If I go back to that same URL or TEXT, and
do another  COPY,  and then back into the already ...
