How do I switch off the reading pane in Outlook 2003 for all folders rather than one folder at a time? I'm sure I had the default as off before, but now I can't see how to do it. Thanks

Is there a way to import JUST the journal from a PST (from Outlook 2002) into Outlook 2003. I can only see Import options for mail messages and settings. Thanks everyone.

I can't seem to get pics from my cell phone to my Outlook 2002. I have all kinds of attachments in my Outlook mailbox. I get jpegs day in and day out. I sent a pic to gmail.com and it showed up just fine. When I forwarded it to myself from there it was empty again.

I'm not an outlook user by trying to reset my father email since his harddrive upgrade. He used to have the address book as a frame or window just under the "folder" on the left of outlook. Is this possible? Right now it just pops up as a separate window.

I'm just transition to Outlook (from OE). Just wondering about news-readers. I use OE as a news-reader at the moment. But it's not apparent that that is possible in Outlook proper. If this is so - what are Outlook user's doing in this reagards?

On two different machines, one with XP and OL 2002 and the other W2K with OL 2000. When I perform the compact function it flashes the little message Compacting... for about 2 seconds. When I check the file size it does not change, even though I've deleted or archived at least 1-2 Mb ...
