I had to reformat and re-install Outlook 2000. Although I check "remember password" when doing a send/receive and also under tools/accounts/mail/properties/servers...I keep getting this prompt which means on dial-up I can't even send a message. I didn't have this problem

I need to have a field where incremental number will be create base on when a e-mail will be receive. This is to make sure that each email will receive a unique number. Once that number is generated i need to be able to change it manually.

Can someone tell me how to re-install Outlook 2000 without it importing all of my settings automatically; my settings as they are will not remember my password and I'm hoping it's something I erroneously did upon set-up (or something).

once a message has arrived into my inbox with attachments, i move it to the public folder. how do i notify someone or a contact group that the message is in the public folder? this would eliminate having to foward the entire message.

I am unable to use Outlook Express 6.0 on my computer at work. We are running Win XP Pro with SP2. If you click on the Outlook Express icon, you see the OE splash screen and it sits there for several minutes and then disappears.
