Just downloaded Microsoft Office and haven't configured Outlook.  When I try
to send a web link or page by email, Office opens, but I can't send.  I want
to continue to use OE until I have figured out & configured Outlook.  I can't
find any way to disable Outlook until I'm ready ...

I'm looking at ways of integrating our bespoke application into

When I "forward" a message that contains  .gif animinations, the .gif picture
becomes an 'Attachment".  Pictures don't stay in the message box.  Why?   I

We have some faxing software that sends a pdf attachment to a person.

For some unknown reason, when I click on a header in the inbox it takes much
longer to display the preview. It's almost like some program is checking the
e-mail. I have shut down the NAV auto-protect feature and that doesn't help.

We run a number of XP Pro PC's with Office 2000 Pro. On a few of thes
devices the Inbox does not refresh with new messages until anothe
folder is selected.

For some reason Outlook has started showing all of my tasks, even completed
ones, when I click the Active Tasks in current view. It didn't use to. Any
ideas how I can get to work properly?

I am using Outlook Express V6.00 for news groups.  I just can not seem to
understand HELP on "synchronization".  Is there any other reference on
synchronization?   What is being synchronized to what?
