Bug in Outlook 2003's Reading Pane - it downloads attachments23 Aug 2005 16:12 GMT3
O2K3's Reading pane will download any attachments to a temporary folder
regardless as to the security settings within the application.
Can anyone else verify this please ?
This becomes noticable when the attachments contain viruses.... the virus

I am trying to get Outlook to play a cool .wav file I downloaded for when I
receive new mail.

I am trying to manually archive a folder - exchange 2003 sp1, outlook 2003
when archiving items to a pst to c:\test (full permissions on the folder),
outlook creates the folders but does not move any items from the inbox to

Having spent hours searching for an answer to this and finding lots of
replies quoting VBA scripts etc, I am only marginally wiser !
I can't believe that an app as complex as Outlook 2003 doesn't have a
built-in facility to automatically save attachments !!

When sending a message I get a message that states "no such interface
supported".  How do i correct this problem?  I am using a POP3 account,

I have a user who wants to send out a message to a list of recipients every
Monday at 8:00.  Exact same text, same recipents every time.  Any
suggestions on how to do this?  I suggested a recurring Calendar item, but

   Everytime that i set an outlook to work offline, i must set each folder
on inbox to work offline too.
   Is there a quicker way to do that? Or should I do it on every folder?

About 4 months ago, I set up three email profiles on my computer.  Over
the last month, I notice that new profiles (called "pstloadtmpXXX"
where XXX is a three digit number) continue to build up.
Right now, I have 90 email profiles that have the pstloadtmpXXX name.
