Running XP Pro, sp2, Office, sp1. After closing Outlook, and upon checking the Task Manager, Outlook is still active under the User Name column. Sometimes multiple Outlooks after all have been closed, seem to still be running.

One of my users keeps seeing this popup on an intermittent basis when they try to open an attachment. I've tried what I can find on the web about this with no luck. So I'm looking for more suggestions... The environment is a Windows Server 2003 Terminal Services environment

Recently some Junk-Mail images have been automatically displaying. The HTML used to display the image is something like: <IMG SRC="cid:0e7501c5253c$66be7ed0$84fee3af@borax.net" border="0" ALT=""> Is this preventable or a hole in the way Outlook blocks images?

Our site has upgraded from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003. On a new PC install we are using Offrice 2002 and Outlook 2003 does not recognise it for use in Message Format. Is there a way to fix this?

I am periodically getting a popup informing me that a program is trying to access my email addresses and asking me whether I sould allow this. When I answer no the popup recurs several times. After the last popup Outlook freezes up.

I have a message that's stuck in the Outbox. It will not Send even though Outlook 2003 has been through several Send/Receive cycles. Whatever is keeping it from being sent is not intuitively obvious. It's listed there in all italics. What could be causing this hang-up. More ...
