I have problems with starting Outlook 2000 due to a received mail. There is
something wrong with this mail (no virus, I have checked the .dbx-file with

i have outlook 2003 and can receive emails but not send.  I get several
different types of errors.  One is 0x800ccc78.  Sometimes the error says
check the email address.  Another time it says Server responded 530
Authentication required.

When I insert a picture in Outlook, it shows the picture in my Sent Mail
folder.  However, the receipient doesn't receive it.  I can go to Outlook
Express and send the exact same picture, and they receive it.  Is there a
setting I need to change?

Hmmm, I have OL2003 and that blocks attachments by default (except some well
known formats such as DOC, XLS, ZIP, etc.).
Do I actually need a virus scanner?
