I back up my Outlook data regularly by exporting to a pst file.  It's always
gone smoothly......until now.  I'm getting a message in a popup which simply
says: "Outlook cannot do this action on this type of attachment"
It doesn't indicate which type of attachment.  Or in which ...

Perhaps somebody can tell me why the desktop alert stops working after a few
days.

My MD has a glitch whereby whenever he opens Outlook (2003) and goes to
contacts, all the groups are expanded.  He can go to View>Expand/Collapse
groups>Collapse all groups, but this is making him irritated, and thus he
takes this out on me :-)

I have had a love-hate relationship with Outlook for many years, probably

seventy-one?, floppies. Recently I have been switching between using it and
Thunderbird as my e-mail client.

I've encountered a strange problem with one client running Outlook
2000/WindowsXP (both fully patched) accessing an Exchange 2003 server.
The issue is ... for this one user, Out of Office messages do not get
sent when he sets the OOO Assistant to "not in the office".

I have selected Word 2003 as my email editor in Outlook 2003.
Both were installed at the same time and updated to SP2 at the same
time.
It has become impossible to use Word 2003 as my email editor.

I am in the process of switching from Lotus to Outlook.  I was able to send
e-mail notifications as reminders of calendar events and tasks due with
Lotus.  How do I do this in Outlook?

After a software update for Adobe reader I restarted the computer without
first shutting down Outlook.  Since then I have been unable to get outlook
to start up.  It crashes and wants to send a report to Microsoft.  I let

I can either manually download my credit card statement or have Money
2006 do it automatically.  It says "Transactions to read:19" but when I
go into the actual account the transactions do not show.  My other
credit cards work fine, it is only this one.  I have experienced this

Is there a way to change the physical color of the labels in outlook and not
just the name? Also is there a way to add more labels to outlook.

Hi,  I have Outlook 2003 with both office service packs installed and
the windows installer comes up whenever I check for mail. It says that
windows is preparing to install. How can I stop this and why is it doing it?

Can Outloook 2003 in Internet Mail mode be configured to send "from" a
different account/address dependant on the destination address?
Specifically, for given work-related recipients, I want it to to send
