Importing Gmail mail in Outlook08 Nov 2005 17:41 GMT1
I have just set up my connection to gmail in my Outlook 2003.  When it
is synchronizing with gmail, it seems that the replies which I sent
back to the senders are also coming into my inbox.  How can I set this
such that those would look to be replies or be in my Sent Items and at

Good morning All,
I have imported some contacts into my new outlook 2003.  No probs.  But now
when I add new contacts.  And then select the address book...the imported
contacts come up with Mr, Mrs etc, but the new contacts dont show anything.

My main system is my desktop and I also have a notebook. I would like to
syncronize my outlook inbox and sentbox  back and fourth from system to

I installed MS Office XP SBE.  It came with MS Outlook.  It didn't write over
my old Outlook Express.  Now I have both and can't remove the old O Express.  
Wouldn't be a problem, except my email continues to go to the old O Express.  
Can I deactivate it somehow?

If an email appears in the sent items folder does this mean that it's
definitely been sent ?
I know that it obviously should do... probably ...maybe...

With our new Outlook Express I cannot figure out how to get all the
addressees of a given e-mail in to my address book - or - contacts.  Any help

I have been using Outlook 2002 for two years.  (I have used earlier
versions for at least six additional years.)
Now, for some unknown reason, Outlook reverses the order of names for
new Contacts that I enter.  For example, when I enter "John Smith" as

I am having problems viewing both email accounts that are setup in my

Some days I am at my desk and others I am on the road. I don't have a fancy
server setup...just 2 little machines
How do I keep my outlook files sync'd?

I can't even turn a rule off.  I get the same message.
