Can't create .pst in NEWER format28 Dec 2005 04:29 GMT2
I'm using Oultook 2003 PS2, but it creates .pst files in the old format
("Outlook 97-2002 Personal Folders File"), and NOT in the new 2003 format
("Outlook Office Personal Folders File").
I tried creating a new .pst file and the only choice offered me was the old

I followed the guide in PCWorld to convert my Outlook from 2002 to 2003
attributes. When I looked at it the next day, it was back to 2002.

Just upgraded Office from 2002 (XP) to 2003; a couple of questions arise:
1) Outlook icon is no longer on the desktop?? this wasn't just a shortcut;
used to be able to use it to set profile options; have to do this from
control panel now?

One user is experiencing an issue when trying to send for instance an
excel sheet using the menu option - "send to as attachment". When this
options is selected a new mail windows opens  -so far so good. But the
