I setup a friends PC who has Broadband via a USB modem (Therefore it has to go through a dialup process). They complain that when they open Outlook first, it just fails the send and receive rather then trying to connect to the internet.

the application that I am working with requires a hidden message (of any class) to be inside a folder (corporate archive) on the root of the mailbox so that it can identify the specific folder and then archive its contents.

I just had Outlook 2003 installed on my computer & now the Inbox & mail messages are vertical. I would like them to be horizontal with the Inbox above the messages. I'm sure this is simple but I can't find how to do it. Thanks.

I can see history of e-mails sent to contacts, however I don't know how to link e-mails received from contacts so they show in the history

Ongoing problem, Outlook 2003 will not display contents of Inbox in Cached mode. Other email folders display content OK. Uninstalled Outlook 2003, deleted the *.ost File and reinstalled Outlook - problem persists.

I have recently tripped over a bug in outlook 2003 sp1. Here is how I duplicate the issue. a) Creat a new task item. b) drag and drop an email message into the task note area

I set the font for new emails to "Courier New" But my outlook xp still wants me to use Arial. I do not use word as the authoring tool. TIA

I am using MS Windows XP Pro SP2 and MS Office 2003. Some time ago I have noticed that I cannot drag and drop to any Windows Explorer folder files sent to me as attachments. Still, "Save as" works, but it is very annoying to save files one-by-one when I get dozen attachments in one

Whenever I am reading email and a new inbound message arrives, Outlook 2003 kicks me out of the message I am viewing and opens the outbox instead. This necessitates clicking on the Inbox each time it happens in order to reopen it and return to the message I was viewing.
