Syncing gone Crazy with ODA and Outlook !26 Aug 2006 17:47 GMT1
I recently bought a new laptop, and decided I'd also sync it to my PCD (
Ipaq 1940 ) with ActiveSync ( 3.7 )...
All was going well...and I could sync my Desktop Pc to the Ipaq as
usual...and then from the Ipaq to my new Laptop...and back and forth as

All of a sudden my Outlook stopped working with POP3 accounts.  I did
some reading. Microsoft people of cause blaimed anitviruses, firewalls,
adviced to install SP2 for XP and such. Nothing of that applied to me -
i have XP SP2, no active antivirus (i manually do scan 1/week), no

a) Google finds everything and quickely
b) Google Desktop Search crashes Outlook 2003 when a manual "send &
recieve" is done with at least one HTTP account.

I have been accessing newsgroups thru MS Outlook for 2 yrs..tried to
reinstall  MS xp last weekend and ever since then, when i select 'news' in
outlook, outlook express opens?  i cannot figure out how to change this?

Hello!  Using OE 6.0  I get duplicate and sometimes triplicate emails.  How
can I change that?  And how can I prevent my address book from adding
addresses to every email I do reply to?

I am using Outlook 2000.  Recently the mail delivery box pops up every minute
to show the mail delivery though I have check marked "always hide this dialog
box".

Am NOT using WORD as my email editor but want to us the strikethrough feature
in email message.  When I right click in my HTML email message and edit the
source code, even tho I click save, when I close the box the original text
remains the same.  I think there must be SOMEPLACE ...

Why doesn't Outlook always show "From" AND "To" fields on all new folders

I have looked over this newgroup and a few others, and have not found
an answer.  Is there a way to tell outlook to disregard which account
the e-mail came in on and send it out on the default account that I
have setup.  This is outlook 2003.
