have Outlook XP SP3 running on WinXP Pro with SP2. When i view an appointment invitation that was sent to be in the preview pane for some reason outlook automatically adds the appointment (tentativelly) to the calendar. Searching on google.groups

I have tried to change my default email from outlook express to outlook but the message box "enter network password" keeps appearing every 5 minutes on my screen. How do i stop this happening?

Just wanting to know how to stop Outlook from checking for mail when it starts up. When I sync my phone, iPod, etc.. for my contacts and calendar. The auto check for mail sometimes causes the process of updating to crash. Thanks for the help in advance.
