I have a number of students ask me how to Open an email message and
then Save As using the Rich Text Format. In Outlook 2003, it was quite
simple to open a message, go to Save As and then use the Save As Type
option of Rich Text Format.

Until recently Outlook in calendar view also displayed all birthdays
that I had entered in my contacts. For some strange reason these are all
gone (i.e. the birthdays are still in the contacts, but they are not
displayed in calendar view any more). Any idea why these are gone and ...

I find that I must email some sensitive information via email to a government
agency.  In options, I see some security choices.  I've heard about
'certificates' but I own none.  What options do I have to
1- ensure the information cannot be hijacked by unauthorized parties

It stopped working after I deleted my mail profile and started from scratch
again.  Who would have guessed doing that would break the search feature? I
thought maybe it was indexing, but this is even after indexing has finished.
Take any word from any subject line in any message ...

A user deletes emails and then after a week, the  deleted emails show back in
the inbox. Help?

I'm a little embarrassed to ask this but I'm so tired I can't think
straight. I should know the answer to this but am going blank.  I
turned on my machine this a.m. and discovered that I am unable to
click on a URL in received email and get Internet Explorer to open up.

I want Outlook to appear on the desktop when ever I switch on. Can anyone

Hi - I have Outlook 2007 which came with Office 2007 Pro.  I also have Corel
Word Perfect 8 installed on my computer.  Outlook 2007 keeps searching for
the Corel address book, and as you can imagine, this tremendously slows down
the loading of Outlook.

Just a quick question involving Windows Vista and Outlook 2007.  Can Outlook
2007 be set to use the Contacts section of your profile to store contacts,
rather than within its own Personal Folders file?

I have two profiles set up.  I understand that if I close Outlook, then next
time I open it should prompt for which profile I'd like to use.  Instead, it
automatically opens whichever I chose the first time.
I have checked the Mail Setting, "Prompt for a profile to be used".

Is it possible to view attachments (such as pictures) inline in Outlook
2003?  Like how OE 6 does?
