Every once in a while I get a forwarded e-mail that comes as an attached .msg file; and it will not open in Outlook 2003. Normally, forwarded email is simply repeated in the text in full view. What am I missing here? Appreciate any thoughts on this.

Daughter gave me her computer which has Outlook 2003 on it, but it was never used. I use Outlook 2000 on my old computer. How do I transfer the outlook 2000 data file from the old computer to the new computer? Is the data file structure compatible?

I have backed up my emails in Outlook but wonder how I could view an individual email from the backup file? I know I could restore but wouldn't that overwrite my existing emails and wouldn't it restore all the emails when I only want to view one?

I have been trying to make Outlook my default mail browser. I completed all of the forms, and all of the boxes got ticked. But when a test mail was sent - it came in to Outlook Express. No way can I get mail to come in to Outlook.

I frequently open the calendar in another window, clicking on Calendar with the right button and select "open in another window". Is there a way to open the calendar automatically in another window when Outlook is started?

Is it possible to make Word 2007 work with Outlook 2003? I have purchased the Student Teacher edition of Office 2007 and it doesn't come with outlook.....so I still use outlook 2003; however, Word 2007 will not work with the old Outlook. Is there any work arounds?
