I would really appreciate some help with extracting data from
Outlook.  I have been building up a database of clients/prospectives,
these are in various categories.  I would like to extract/search on
various fields as well as my own categories, all i can do with export

Almost everytime I open Outlook I get the message "A data file was not
closed properly last time it was used and is being checked for
problems. Performance might be affected while the check is in
progress". It then checks the .pst file with the cogs icon appearing

Using Outlook 2003.  I have a farily high end system but when clicking on a
web link in an Outlook email it takes possibly 15-30 seconds for the browser
to open and go to the web page.  Why is this?  Is there a setting to improve

Ya know how you start typing a name in the TO line, and it opens a list of
suggestions, from prior history of who you have sent email to? How do you
clear that out? There are type-o's in there, and it's screwing me up!

Outlook 2003: selecting a mail folder automatically     highlights/selects/opens the first message in that folder05 Mar 2008 22:14 GMT2
I've been struggling with how to describe this problem and thus
searching for similar reports of my issue is proving difficult. So I'm
posting this to the group for support.
I have several folders for various accounts and email filtering rules.

We use Outlook 2003 and until today everything was fine.  Starting
this morning however, my personal Inbox shows that I have one unread e-
mail, but there is nothing in there.  I have done an advanced find on

I am setting up a Terminal Server and any time someone logs in for the first
time and executes Outlook I get an annoying error.  It says:
"Outlook experienced a serious error the last time the add-in 'pdfmoutlook'
was opened.  Would you like to disable this add-in?  ..."

I have an Exchange 2003 server and all user using outlook 2003,
each of the user will have more than one profile set in outlook,
everytime user change profile, they have to login again.  any method to save
the exchange passowrd?

I have had happen within the last month, duplicates of all email in my
Inbox. I have no idea why this is happening. I have tried a plug in to
remove duplicates and this doesnt work.
I just deleted over 1600 messages which were marked unread.

Does anyone know anything about this.... User can edit any message in
his/her Outlook and then save it without anyone know that the message was
changed. Is there any mechanism build in Outlook that I can verify if
message was changed in any way?
