I need to have a hyperlink over some text that shouldn't be underlined, but cannot find anything straightforward to do to meet the need. Surely this is solveable: it seems such an obvious problem. Please help!

When I try to insert a slide from file, the thumbnail images are not shown. Up until about 2 weeks ago, I did not have this problem when using the powerpoint XP program. Operating system is Windows 2000.
