Just wondering if there is a way to build some sort of program (possibly visual basic) that can read text from a powerpoint file?  The tool I am trying to build will have to be able to get the text off of slides and replace characters on slides as well

Inserting an .avi into a ppt slide causes Powerpoint to crash. Installing
WINDVD seems to have caused the problem and though it's completely removed

How do I get a GIF animation to work? Using PowerPoint 97
and added an animated GIF but when I play the slide show
the GIF just sits there, no animation.

I ran a PP presentation on PP 2003 that I had made using PP 97, and all of
the text looked fuzzy and unclear.  Does anyone know why this is happening,
and is there anything I can do to correct it.
